Kittens, this takes skill. First of all the cuts of both the camisole and the pants are very difficult to wear well. Separately, I think they may be a mistake, but together, the silhouette is fresh and unique and very summery. Of course, the silhouette would be nothing without those fierce platform sandals. Again, with a strap around the ankle, normally, I wouldn't like it, but with this outfit, it's perfect. The wide-brim hat I wouldn't normally like either, too J-Lo, but the way it flips up in the...front, I assume, is playful and relaxing. Needless to say, the colors and textures work together like a dream. When these items came together, they became such a diverse and well harmonized family, complimenting each other even though they're a little quirky and wierd individually...which is why this is Set of the Day.
